Fawad Khan is a cyber security expert and an academician with several years of experience. He specializes in Cryptography & Information security. Currently, he is working as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Intelligent Healthcare, Coventry University, UK. Previously he was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Security at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan. He received a PhD Degree in Information & Communication Engineering from Xidian University, Xi’an, China in 2018. His research interests and expertise include Sensory Data Acquisition, Healthcare security, Attribute-based Encryption, Authentication, Searchable Encryption, Homomorphic Encryption, Multi-party computations, Blockchain, and Privacy-preserving Machine Learning. He has also served as a Lab Engineer at the Department of Electrical Engineering, FAST – NUCES, Pakistan from 2011-2015. His professional services include Technical Program Committee Member and reviewer for several international journals and conferences. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.
