Biography
Dr Ernest Nnadi’s training, experience & research cuts across diverse areas of environmental science & technology & engineering. He has expertise in areas of water quality, water & wastewater treatment, environmental analysis, oil pollution remediation, stormwater management, water reuse & efficiency, sustainable drainage & irrigation, environmental pollution, waste management, environmental health & safety, environmental monitoring, sustainability and renewable energy, technical business analysis. He is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and has taught wide range of undergraduate & postgraduate modules & supervised research at Universities in the UK and overseas. Also, Dr Nnadi is actively involved in research; designs and conducts bespoke applied research for industry and testing of industrial products.
He received PhD in Civil & Environmental Engineering at Coventry University, UK. He has European Energy Institute Galileo Master Certificates in Renewable Energy Management & Finance, Renewable Energy Solutions. IOSH-Managing Safely in Oil, Gas & Energy Industry Certificate, NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, Business analysis & project Management, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) Certification, Agile Scrum Master(ASM®) and Data Analytics trainings. He has worked at University of Brighton international College as a Lecturer in Physical Sciences & Engineering, Research Assistant, HP Lecturer & Supervisor- Deapartment of Geography, Environment & Disaster Management, Coventry University and worked recently as Research Associate in Geo-Environmental Engineering, at The University of Manchester as well as Hon. Research Fellow at Centre for Agroecology, Water & Resilence (CAWR), Coventry University. Some of Dr Nnadi's external positions include Research Collaborator & PhD Supervisor- Forest Hydrology & Watershed Management Recovery of Degraded Areas (Hidrolef) & Department of Environmental Sciences, Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil; Research Partner-Construction Technology Research Group (GITECO), University of Cantabria, Spain, Research Partner -Department of Soil & Environmental Science, Ebonyi State University, Nigeria and Research Partner - Centre for Public Health & Toxicological Research, University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He has vast industrial experience, having worked on innovative, applied research & development projects e.g. UNDP, SEL, EPG. Dr Nnadi was Consultant to Henrich Böll Stiftung-Flood Resilient Buildings, Environmental Design & Sustainable Drainage Systems project, Research Analyst & Research Manager at Smartsource Drainage & Water UK. He has authored research articles, book chapters, books & papers; Editor of journals; Publons Outstanding Reviewer & Member of Engineering and Physical Research Council (EPSRC) Review College
