    Biography

    Elmar is an Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer) in Business Strategy at the Coventry University School of Management and Course Director for MBA. He has more than 10 years industry experience—mainly automotive—, holds a PhD in Management and an MBA with distinction from the University of Leicester. He has been awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education in Academic Practice, also with distinction, and is Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. As an active researcher, he was an ASPiRE Fellow of the Centre for Business in Society and his research interests are in the areas of entrepreneurial growth strategies, SME firm performance and pathways to sustainability, which includes diversity in management boards and inclusive leadership strategies.
