    Research Interests

My primary research and scholarly interests is on fundamental and applied industrial systems involving Fluid flow and Heat transfer.  My key research experience covers the following multidisciplinary areas:

    • Multiphase Transport and Flow Assurance -experiment and CFD modelling (Porous media flow; Enhanced oil recovery (water flooding, Gas injection, residual Oil saturation reduction and Thermal recovery) and Sand transport through pipelines)
    • FEA modelling of advanced materials for extreme environment applications (failure/damage prediction and reliability assessment of pipelines and pressure vessels).
    • Renewable energy systems modelling (Design, performance prediction and optimization)
    • Wind Turbine/ Tidal Turbine/ Hydro Turbine
    • Solar heating and geothermal energy systems (heat exchangers, built environments and heating systems applications)
