    Personal profile


    I am a highly focused business management and human resource professional, with experience in academic teaching and research.  My varied experience includes roles as a social entrepreneur, leadership and management consultant, and executive coach.

    I have worked in the UK and internationally as an academic researcher, tutor and business professional in the areas of Human Resource Management, leadership and management consultancy, international development, women empowerment and entrepreneurship development.

    I facilitated leadership and management development programmes with Accenture, which included personal leadership capabilities, team building and conflict resolution for managers at UNILEVER in West and East Africa.

    As a founder and CEO of a charity in northern Nigeria, I managed this NGO and provided leadership and management for 22 staff.  I was responsible for developing and implementing all the human resource policies and procedures required for running and managing the staff and acticities of the organisation.  In addition, I developed funding and operations stratetegies, including securing and delivering projets worth millions of Nigerian Naira from the Australian Development Funds.

    I joined Coventry University as a Lecturer in Human Resource Management in 2017.

    As a Course Director, I am currently managing the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) Leadership Programmes within the Enterprise and Innovation Team.
