Biography
Cahyono Bintang Nurcahyo is a postgraduate researcher on the cotutelle dual award programme between Coventry University (United Kingdom) and Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (Indonesia).
He started his academic journey back in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universitas Indonesia. He then further specialised in Project Management, attaining a Master of Engineering degree from the same institution in 2006. Finally, in the latter part of 2023, Bintang was awarded a Professional Engineer degree from the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember.
Before pursuing a career in academia, Bintang acquired valuable professional experience working at PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk., a state-owned company, as a Planning and Scheduling Engineer on its EPC Project.
Furthermore, since joining Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember in 2008, Bintang not only became a certified Professional Lecturer by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud RI), but also attained credentials as a Senior Expert of Project Management and an Associate Expert of Road Engineering from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP).
Since 2024, Bintang has been enrolled as a Doctorate Student at Coventry University, specifically at the Centre for E-Mobility and Clean Growth. He is currently conducting research on risk allocation strategies in public-private partnerships for airport infrastructure provision under the tutelage of Professor Benny Tjahjono.
Bintang is passionate about bridging the gap between academic research and practical solutions, particularly concerning partnerships establishment for infrastructure provision.

Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Development, Project Management, Risk Management, Public-Private Partnership, Disaster Economics, and Digital Construction.
