    Biography

    I am a Lecturer in Human Resource Management at the School of Marketing and Management. I hold a PhD from Royal Holloway University of London and an MSc in Organisational Studies and International Human Resource Management from the University of Essex. My PhD was funded by Royal Holloway School of Management and it examined the unintended outcomes of performance management systems in British universities. While doing my PhD, I held a teaching post at Royal Holloway, University of London, and worked as a research assistant at the University of Calgary.

    I have research interests in organisational behaviour, human resource management, employee well-being and the management of higher education. I am particularly interested in the critical analysis of the way human resource management practices affect employees’ behaviour.
