Dr. Bo Tan is a Lecturer at School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics, Honorary researcher at, Electronics Engineering, University College London. He was post-doc researcher at Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, UCL, Electronics Engineering, University of Bristol. He was granted PhD in digital communications, the University of Edinburgh in 2013. His research focused on signal processing method and design of wireless systems. His works wireless sensing has been used in healthcare, security, Robotic and indoor positioning and lead to the serial of high impact academic conference and journal publications. His work on a novel wireless signal processing method for WiFi sensing has been patented, received industrial awards and attention from main technology media link IEEE Spectrum.  He participants in EPSRC and ERC-funded research projects on healthcare and wireless network, research and technology transfer projects funded by Dstl, Metropolitan Police and UCL. He is also the member of IEEE and ACM, reviewer and TPC member of serial of IEEE, IET journals and conferences.
