Atif has an MSc degree in Forensic Computing from Coventry University which explored methods and technologies to address cyber security and cybercrimes. Atif has industrial work experience as "Senior Software Developer" and have successfully delivered projects for managing information systems and their security. He joined Coventry University as Sn. Research Assistant on HAMPER (Human Agent Mission Planning for Emergency Response) project to research and develop intelligent behaviour in autonomous agents. The system provides an effective mission planning simulation for police and security services. He has been part of an interdisciplinary team to research on sustainability and energy monitoring dashboard and developing 3D virtual world energy game. Atif's current research activities focus on evaluating cyber security evidence for policy advice.


Vision Statement

As the digital landscape is evolving rapidly and cyber criminals pose potential threat to information systems and digital assets, it may not be possible to eliminate this threat in the coming years but narrow down the exposure window. My aim is to research and develop technologies to protect digital assets, investigate security breaches and stimulate a safer cyber space.
