Biography

Anthony is a Lecturer in Occupational and Business Psychology within the department of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences at Coventry University. Anthony began his academic studies as an undergraduate student on the Bsc (Hons) Psychology degree at Coventry University. Anthony then went on to pursue his passion for Occupational Psychology by successfully completing a masters degree in the subject also at Coventry University. Over the course of the masters degree Anthony established his own business psychology consultancy. During this time, Anthony worked with organisations to develop brand new psychometric tests, published a book on the recruitment and selection cycle and established a popular business psychology blog. Anthony is currently working towards a PhD at Coventry University looking into the development of an evidence-based toolkit that will enable workplaces to successfully implement physical activity promotion interventions. The PhD project is supervised by Professor Beth Grunfeld, Dr Gemma Pearce, Dr Christine Grant and Dr Ceclie Thogerson. Anthony also supports various research interest groups including the Group for Research on Organisations and Work at Coventry University. Anthony encourages anyone who may be interested in his research and work to get in touch.

I am passionate about applied research. My main vision is to help both organisations and their stakeholders to benefit from high quality research evidence. I always strive to tackle issues of real importance and to make my research interesting, informative and accessible to both researchers and organisations alike. Also, I feel that inspiring the next generation of researchers is important to the advancement of our field and always strive to deliver exciting and engaging lectures to achieve this.
