Biography

I joined Coventry University as a Lecturer in Finance in September 2019. I am also an ASPiRE fellow in the Centre for Financial and Corporate Integrity (CFCI). I hold a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Glasgow. For my PhD studies I was awarded a scholarship from the Economics and Social Research Council (ESRC). I further hold an MSc in Applied Accounting and Auditing and a BSc in Accounting.

I have previously worked as teaching and research assistant in the University of Glasgow and the University of Strathclyde. I have taught various courses in Accounting and Finance in undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In addition, I have worked as accountant before joining the academia.

My main research areas are: corporate finance, insider trading, information leakage, mergers and acquisitions, financial regulations and digital currencies.
