My research focuses on the impact of social networks on the emergence of shared cognitions in groups and teams. I use a psycho-structural approach to the study of groups and teams which combine the use of both social network analysis and psychological variables to understand the emergence and development of shared cognitions. I’m also interested in the development of experimental studies using social sensing wearables. These wearables allow moving away from social network analysis based on self-reported measures by measuring real interactions between individuals.

I believe that the study of how people interact with each other and its relationship with shared cognitions can be applicable to multiple contexts such as organisations, education, social, among others.
