Amjad is a Lecturer in Internet-of-Things with the School of Future Transport Engineering, Coventry University. Prior to his appointment, he was a Research Associate in signal processing for 5G networks with the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering, Loughborough University, where he worked on developing intelligent and novel distributed systems using blockchain and machine learning techniques for internet-of-things and massive machine to machine communication networks. His research interests are in the areas of digital living, internet-of-things, connected and autonomous vehicles, machine learning, blockchain technology, secure wireless communication, co-operative networks, network coding, and real-time embedded systems.
