Amjad is currently a Lecturer in Internet-of-Things at the School of Future Transport Engineering, Coventry University. Prior to this position, he worked as a Research Associate in signal processing for 5G networks at the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering, Loughborough University. During his tenure at Loughborough University, his work focused on the development of intelligent and innovative distributed systems using blockchain and machine learning techniques for internet-of-things and massive machine-to-machine communication networks. His research interests span several areas, including digital living, internet-of-things, connected and autonomous vehicles, machine learning, blockchain technology, secure wireless communication, cooperative networks, network coding, and real-time embedded systems.
