Amjad is a Lecturer in Internet-of-Things with the School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics, Coventry University. Prior to his appointment, he was a Research Associate in signal processing for 5G networks with the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering, Loughborough University (2018-2020), where he worked on developing intelligent and novel distributed systems using blockchain and machine learning techniques for internet-of-things and massive machine to machine communication networks. His research interests are in the areas of digital living, internet-of-things, connected and autonomous vehicles, machine learning, blockchain technology, secure wireless communication, co-operative networks, network coding, and real-time embedded systems.
