    Ahmadreza is an architect, urbanist and researcher with qualifications in research, architecture, spatial planning and urban design. He completed his PhD studies (with a focus on sustainable urban development in Iran) in 2018. As an archietct, he has previously worked in the Middle East in a number of multidisciplinary architecture and design practices. Prior to joining the Coventry University in 2020, he has taught at places such as University of West London, University of Westminster, and Barking and Dagenham College.  

    He is Lecturer based at the School of Energy, Construction and Environment and teaches on various subjects in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels including: Urban Design and Planning; History of Art and Architecture; Comprehensive Design; Design Project; Project Design Skills; Preparing to Research, and so on.  

    His research focus is on the sociopolitics of place-making, architecture and cities.
