Ahmad joined Coventry Business School as a Lecturer in Accounting in September 2018. Prior to joining Coventry, he worked as a part-time Lecturer and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Essex between 2013-2018. At Essex Business School, Ahmad was part of different teams responsible for the design, preparation, delivery and assessment of courses in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Corporate Governance. He was also part of a team responsible for supervising undergraduate students in their final year research project. Ahmad hold a PhD degree in Accounting and MSc degree in International Accounting from the University of Essex. His research interests revolve around International Accounting, Accounting and Accountability from an Islamic Perspective, Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Ethics.
