Biography
Agus Riadi is a dedicated researcher with a focus on teaching English to speakers of other languages, curriculum development, pronunciation, and more. In 2020, he was awarded a research grant by the Indonesian Government to conduct a study on Linguistic Landscape: A Language Learning Media in an Underdeveloped Region. Subsequently, he received another prestigious research grant from the A.S. Hornby Dictionary Research Award. His research, titled "Incorporating Linguistic Landscape in a Plurilingual Dictionary to Support Students’ Translanguaging in Borneo Underdeveloped Region: A Preliminary Pilot Study," has garnered attention for its innovative approach. Currently, Agus is exploring Indonesian students' attitudes toward the use of generative AI in their academic writing and its implications on academic misconduct, as well as the availability of guidance or policy from several universities in Indonesia
