Adegoke Olubanwo holds a Doctorate degree (PhD) in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree (MSc) with distinction in Civil & Structural Engineering, both from Coventry University. He is also an alumnus of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Nigeria where he completed his undergraduate studies in Civil & Transportation Engineering. He is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy. Dr Adegoke is an Assistant Professor (Academic)  at Coventry University, and he currently holds the role of Postgraduate course directorship (MSc Civil, Structural & Highway/Transportation Engineering). He enjoys the challenge of teaching and research in the latest areas of Computational Structural Mechanics, Prestressed and Composite Structures, Structural Dynamics, Structural Health Monitoring & Performance Assessment, and Novel Bio-cementitious materials formulation, characterisation & Utilisation. He has built reputable strong research and consulting collaborations with academic and private organisations within UK, China and Africa. With over Eighteen years of relevant postgraduate work experience in civil & structural engineering consulting, construction and academic teaching & research, Adegoke continues to ensure that dissemination of knowledge stays true to his aspirations.
