Biography
Adedapo is an academic with a background in engineering and experience in running a family business. He was awarded the Best PhD Thesis in Management at Multimedia University’s 2015 convocation in Malaysia, recognising his outstanding research contributions.
His academic career spans institutions in the UK, Malaysia and Nigeria. Prior to joining Coventry University as an Assistant Professor in Business Management, Adedapo served at Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia, from 2015 to 2022, where he held several leadership roles. These included Chair of a Research Centre for three years and MBA Programme Coordinator for two years. In his role as MBA Coordinator, he championed and piloted the development of microcredentials derived from MBA modules, supporting flexible and modular learning pathways.
Adedapo has extensive experience teaching undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive-level courses in management. He has also led corporate training and consulting engagements in project management, strategic management, and product development for clients such as Telekom Malaysia and MYNIC.
His research agenda is driven by a commitment to applying interdisciplinary perspectives to explore sustainable development challenges at both individual and organisational levels.
Adedapo is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)®, a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), a member of the British Academy of Management Peer Review College, and a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
