Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Surmi is a Lecturer in Business Analytics at Coventry University (School of Strategy and Leadership). He received his undergraduate degree in Business and ICT from Sheffield Hallam University in 2011, his MBA in Business Administration from Sheffield Hallam University in 2012, and his PhD in Business Management from University of Bedfordshire in 2016. His PhD was focused on the impact of business, IT, and marketing strategies (Triadic Strategic Alignment) on organisational performance.
He has been involved extensively in teaching Business Data Analytics to postgraduate students at University of Bedfordshire. Currently, he is leading and teaching Applied Marketing Analytics to postgraduate students, and Business Analytics to undergraduate students. He is also involved in supervising research dissertations at postgraduate level.
Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Surmi has a particular interest in the following fields: Strategic Management, Strategic Alignment, and Business Value of IT and Marketing. Also, I aspire to carry out further research in the area of Business Analytics field.
