Description

We built a hybrid testbed blending virtual components with real OCPP‑compliant chargers, EV Supply Equipment (EVSE) testers, and simulated EVs to generate a semantically rich, attack‑inclusive dataset. It captures 55+ features spanning message semantics, finite state machine transitions, timing behaviour, payload complexity, and network characteristics, all grounded in the official OCPP 1.6 and 2.0 specs.
Compared with leading IoT and Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) datasets, our dataset offers deeper protocol semantics, clearer state‑machine structure, and more realistic stealth attack scenarios. This creates a reproducible foundation for next‑generation, protocol‑aware intrusion detection and prevention in EV charging ecosystems.
