Description

Pat is the bioscience lead on a collaborative project with the NGO Standing Voice to engage the public in Tanzania with the science, particularly the genetics, of albinism.  The team includes creative artists with albinism from three countries in Africa and uses song, dance and drama to engage the public with the concept of inheritance.  The aim is to show that albinism is a genetic condition that occurs by chance; it is not a curse.
