    The circular economy is based on the principles of designing out waste and poluution and the continual use of resources. Current circular economy research, however, doesn't view the problems relating to circularity using a platform-based buisness model perspective. This article explores the potential obstacles and barriers for a platform-based circular economy model in the automotive sector such as privacy and security issues.
