Description
What makes someone creative? Can we expand our imagination? Are people who daydream more creative? Do we become more imaginative when we are absorbed in fiction? Valerie's research examines how imagination and creativity work in the brain, and what creative and imaginative individuals are like. Through a series of psychological experiments, she has investigated how we generate creative ideas, how we pick the best out of those ideas, and how vivid images pull us into our imaginations, allowing us to create a multitude of mental worlds.
