Description
This was a public event/talk that took place hat the end of my residency period with The 309 Punk Project, Pensacola. The purpose of the event was for me to share the work and research I had been engaged in through the residency. The organisation frame these residency events as a 'closing party' - sometimes an exhibition, performance, gig, talk - whatever is most appropriate for the artist. In this instance, it was a talk about the research coupled with a listening party for the songs that had been recorded with local musicians. We also incorporated a poetry open-mic event, specifically inviting students and staff from Pensacola State College to participate, and interview between myself and, local poet, Jamey Jones.Period | 28 Jul 2024 |
