    Thesis abstract:
This dissertation aims at minimising the waste of an existing production line through developments of verified scenarios. With the use of the data gathered from the production line an initial simulation model is developed in a software in order to represent the real production model. This line was examined as well through simulation software Arena. Optimised scenarios were developed, implemented and compared. To optimise scenarios, a number of criteria has been considered. Such criteria are waste production, total time of products waiting in queue, cost of scenario for long and short term and scenario delivers sufficient value to the company. Through the comparison one of the scenarios has been selected as the proposed solution. This solution was able to reach the highest score during the comparison.
