Description

This roundtable is organised within the internally funded project CAPER ('Closing the gap between Academia and Policymaking in the UK Economic crime Response').

The purpose of the roundtable is to discuss a proposal for a platform to facilitate the interactions between academia and policymakers in the area of economic crime.

The proposal is being developed at CFCI in partnership with the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), the research centre Transcrime at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan) and the Bristol Law School at the University of the West of England (UWE) and will be submitted as a bid for an ESRC Research Grant.

The roundtable is structured in two main sessions:
- Morning session (10:30am-12:45pm): in this session, the CFCI research team will present the preliminary research conducted so far and the draft proposal. This will be followed by some time for Q&A and open feedback;
- Afternoon session (2:45pm-5:15pm): in this session, participants will discuss questions circulated ahead of the event. A final Q&A and open feedback session will follow.
