    Description

Dr Olave was invited to conduct seminars on Carbon Balance for Grassland, Agroforestry and Energy Crop Systems in Northern Ireland for post graduate students and facilitate exchange of ideas to prepare the submission (deadline 21/03/2018) of the H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (RISE) research proposal SIPASYS (“Sharing understanding and creating knowledge on silvopastoral systems along climatic gradients to mitigate land degradation and climate change”) where AFBI is one of CAWR's key partners. The visit was also a very valuable opportunity to discuss potential future collaboration between CAWR and AFBI on research, in particular funding calls and co-supervision of doctoral students.
