    At the Policy Forum on 30th April 2025, held at the Malaysian High Commission in London, Sylvester Arnab joined a panel consisting of colleagues from GLEA to share insights from Coventry University’s community-engaged initiatives across Southeast Asia. Drawing on work from projects like GameChangers, CreativeCulture, ACES, and I-HEDU, Sylvester highlighted the importance of inclusive, equitable, playful, and participatory approaches in shaping equitable UK-ASEAN knowledge partnerships. Engaging with representatives from ASEAN embassies, one exciting outcome from the event is Sylvester's invitation to become a founding member of the Malaysian Academics Diaspora community, supporting stronger links between international research and Malaysia’s national development.
