The talk was organised as a part of the LSE Gender Institute Research Seminar Series at LSE. The main purpose of the talk is discussing the contextualising the widespread phenomena, consuming plastic surgery in South Korea. Although many feminist scholars have criticised the tendency of consuming plastic surgery, the consuming plastic surgery is not only the result of globalisation, but also a process of constructing identities.
