Description
Flight and ground safety is one of the most critical pillars of operation in military organisations. According to the standard definitions, flight safety aims to maximise military organisations' effectiveness and combat capacity. The safety rules and methods the military organisations apply usually come from the respective organisations of aircraft, ships, and ground weapons manufacturer countries. With the rapid development and immediate application of technology to military resources and assets, there is a need to update, upgrade and improve these flight safety programs and methods.
The presentation will mention the military's current flight and ground safety state. The speaker will analyse the advantages and disadvantages of their updating and improvement processes. It will also investigate the practices, procedures, technics and tools that military organisations can use to improve their flight and ground safety at a strategic, tactical, and operational level concerning new weapons and norms used or potentially used in the future. The feasible implementation of a new Safety Management System (SMS) in military organisations will be cited during the presentation.
Finally, it presents recommendations for improvement and upgrades that military organisations can implement to effectively execute flight and ground safety programs and systems in the modern operational environment.
