    • Recognise the burden of Chronic kidney disease (CKD) and understand the imperative for prompt and effective management
    • Review key data from the EMPA-KIDNEY and EMPA-REG OUTCOME trials
    • Recognise the cardio-renal-metabolic benefits of Jardiance® (empagliflozin)
    • Understand the guideline recommendations around reducing cardiovascular and renal risk through the use of SGLT2 inhibitors in adults with CKD and type 2 diabetes (T2D)
    • Be confident in knowing when and how to initiate empagliflozin in adults with CKD and T2D.
