    Description

The 26th European Signal Processing Conference (EUSIPCO 2018) will be held from the 3rd to the 7th of September 2018 in Rome, Italy. Organised by Roma Tre University, EUSIPCO 2018 will be held at Centro Congressi di Confindustria – Auditorium della Tecnica. The flagship conference of the European Association for Signal Processing (EURASIP) addresses the latest developments in research and technology for signal processing and its applications. It will feature world-class speakers, oral and poster sessions, keynotes and plenaries, exhibitions, demonstrations, tutorials, demo and ongoing work sessions and satellite workshops, and is expected to attract many leading researchers and industry figures from all over the world.
Among these, the conference will host the “WhoLoDancE: body motion analysis with applications to dance education and beyond” Satellite Workshop (7 Sept, 14:00 – 18:30). The main focus of the workshop is to bring together experts of dance movement analysis coming from both sides of the spectrum: scientists who focus on movement analysis and quality assessment, as well as dancers, who help scientists make sense of descriptors that are often hard to pinpoint and formalize. The workshop will present the latest scientific and technical results achieved by the WhoLoDancE Consortium and showcase the developed technologies in the form of live demonstrations and dance improvisation performances, as well as giving the public the opportunity to engage firsthand with virtual reality and multimodal interactive experiences.
