Activity: Talk or presentationInvited talk

Description

Editorial approaches towards performing possible, and possibly more democratic, presents and futures of scholarship and scholarly publishing – in a time in which the value of scholarship is increasingly judged by its ability to generate reputational and economic benefits, while inequities in academia persist alongside environmental and humanitarian emergencies, the deterioration of democracy, a growing amount of anti-intellectual media and political attacks directed towards the humanities, and the ‘social-scientification’ of humanities disciplines.
