ECR Gesture Workshop 2022

Description

This workshop is organised by and for early-career gesture researchers. We aim to connect discussions across the field, share resources, and build our collaboration networks. There are diverse approaches to studying gesture, but we sometimes get channelled by the systems and phenomena we study. This is a chance to think about how we define gesture, how we research gesture, and what’s next in gesture research. We will also take time to discuss more specific topics of interest. Each afternoon, there will be an opportunity to get to know one another and connect with mentors. We hope that this will be a way to form deeper collaboration across gesture research.
