Description
Awarded a consultancy contract by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM)/ Indonesia, in a form of signed MoU with Coventry University and contributed as Maritime Security expert in a series of research activities in the Country. The activities are part of the establishment of a maritime security consortium, which embraces all key stakeholders in the country, provide a platform for focus group discussions, develop a common understanding and conduct joint research in maritime security. These activities include so far the following warded/ delivered projects: • Maritime Security and Migrant Protection in the Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea (23-27 July 2016). • Promoting Enhanced Coordination in Combating Transnational Organized Crime at Sea for 2016 and Beyond (4-9 Mar. 2016) • Building Partnerships for Indonesian Maritime Security (9-18 Sep. 2015) • Focus Group Discussion in Maritime Security (19-26 Apr. 2015) • Training of Trainers in Maritime Security (8-11 Dec 2014, 27-30 July 2016)Period | Sept 2015 → … |
