Description

Established in 1988, AERC is a public not-for-profit organization devoted to the advancement of economic policy research and training with a focus on Africa.

I attended a workshop organised by AERC for shortlisted grant applicants in response to the call for proposals, for collaborative research on “Healthcare Financing in Africa”. I presented the proposal: "To what extent do public and private financing sources affect access and quality of health care? Experiences from Uganda’s healthcare system". My research team won the grant of $15,000.
